👻😈😱🧹💀🧟🧛
Spooky!
I'll also update you:
In the cinema I've seen 'Forgotten Island' and 'Wildwood'. I strongly recommend both of these masterclasses and crafts in animation. Make women/girls of colour (who are fiercely independent as well as smart, brave and heroic protagonists) in fantasy worlds a new genre.
In online and streaming news: I temporarily have HBO Max, and I've seen all of 'Fionna and Cake', 'Steven Universe', 'Steven Universe Future', 'My Adventures with Superman', and 'Our Flag Means Death'.
What else? I've seen the episodes of 'Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl' so far, the second episode of 'Knights of Guinevere', and 'Lesbian Space Princess'.
I recommend people watch all of these, and make their own judgements. I'm not going to tell you what to like and what not to like, without you having seen them for yourselves.
(Okay, my favourites are 'My Adventures with Superman', 'Our Flag Means Death' (gay pirates for the fucking win), and 'Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to be a Magical Girl' (for indie YouTube animation), but I like the rest fine.)
For now, enjoy your Halloween fun.
I try to.
Here's witchy me this year:
