Now I know I must have seen this as a toddler.
A fun family book about a non-family-friendly family activity. 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', I think, teaches about going through problems, braving the elements, retracing your steps, and finding your way home again.
Also, don't go looking for bears. Do anything else in your family outing, in exploring nature.
That dad should not be looking after kids. They're lucky to be alive.
