Book Review - 'Griselda Snook's Spectacular Books' by Barry Timms (Writer), Laura Borio (Illustrator)

A fun, cute Halloween picture hidden in my local bookshop. And it's about a bookshop! And spooky, kooky monsters and mythical creatures, and the love of books and reading!

The main characters are POC, including Griselda Snook herself, a merry, cheery, bustling, funny little old lady bookseller.

'Griselda Snook's Spectacular Books' is so comfy, whimsical, darling, charming, hilarious, and diverse. It reminds me of old Saturday morning cartoons. It should be made into a children's animated series.

I want to live in its world, and its gigantic, eccentric, magical, Halloween-y bookshop!

I love the illustrations. And I love books, and Halloween. So this book is one of those that is just right for me!

For indeed, there is a book for everyone. Multiple books for everyone to enjoy reading.

Final Score: 4/5
