I just saw 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post' on a complete whim, unsure if I was going to just be spontaneous today. I'm so glad I did. It's like a less-comedic 'But I'm a Cheerleader', and done much better. 'Cameron Post' is a lovely and important film; beautiful and near perfect, except that it really should have been set in the present day instead of the early '90s. As the horror that is gay conversion therapy is still happening. It's dehumanizing, disgusting, and appalling. It kills queer children. I'll have more to say about the film in the future. For now I'll say: Just see it. It is worth your time and money.
