I hate seeing fictional women described as "feisty", "quirky", "fiery" etc. Writing Tip: Feistiness and quirkiness are not character traits - they're not even attempts at such - they're random, vague notes placed on cutouts; usually by (mostly) male writers who cannot be bothered to give their female character an actual personality. "Quirky" is short for quirk, after all; a small detail. Give me 3D women any day!
